M5Stack A164 Keyboard for Tab5
M5Stack A164 Keyboard is designed specifically for Tab5 and connects directly to the host via the Tab5 Ext.Port1, creating a plug-and-play input experience. This 70-key physical keyboard input expansion module is built around an STMicroelectronics STM32F030C8T6 main control chip to provide keyboard matrix scanning and communication processing. The preloaded firmware offers three operating modes: normal, HID, and character. The 14 x 5 matrix design supports multiple simultaneous key presses and includes a complete set of letters, numbers, and symbols, as well as commonly used function keys such as Aa, Ctrl, Alt, Tab, Sym, Esc, and the arrow keys. The M5Stack A164 keyboard communicates with Tab5 via I2C, and the onboard RGB LEDs provide full-color status indication. The A164 is ideal for portable applications that require a physical keyboard.
