Newhaven Display 4x20 Chip-on-Glass Character LCD Modules
Newhaven Display 4x20 Chip-on-Glass (COG) Character LCD Modules deliver four lines of twenty characters each in a slimmer, more efficient form factor than traditional chip-on-board modules. These COG displays feature a smaller footprint and reduced power draw, with logic supply current as low as 1.25mA typical. The 4x20 COG displays are available in both FSTN positive (transflective) and STN negative blue (transmissive) options with white LED backlights. The FSTN models remain readable without a backlight in well-lit environments, including direct sunlight, further reducing power consumption. These displays are integrated with selectable 8-bit 6800/8080 parallel, 3- or 4-wire SPI, or I²C interfaces, and a 20-pin FFC cable (0.5mm pitch) connectivity. The NHD-C0420AZ displays are 69mm x 38mm with universal outer dimensions that fit virtually any application, and the NHD-C0420BZ displays are 77.4mm x 52.4mm.
