STMicroelectronics STKNX Miniature KNX Transceiver
STMicroelectronics STKNX Miniature KNX Transceiver is used for KNX TP communication and housed in a 4mm x 4mm VQFNPN24 package for compact designs. The device has a simple interface to the μC that allows easy replacement of physical-layer discrete-components implementations. The STKNX features two integrated voltage regulators for external use in the application. This includes a selectable 3.3V/5V - 20mA linear regulator and an adjustable 1V to 12V - 150mA high-efficiency DC/DC step down switching converter.
The STMicroelectronics STKNX Miniature KNX Transceiver has an integrated KNX bus power extractor that supports bus current up to 30mA to power external devices and the STKNX transceiver's own power needs. This limits the bus current slew rate according to KNX specifications. The STKNX assures safe coupling to the bus and provides the bus monitoring warning for the loss of bus power.
