Analog Devices Inc. DC2464A-A and A-B Demo Boards for LTC3351 Chargers are designed using a hot-swappable supercapacitor charger, backup controller, and system monitor. These demo boards control the inrush current when connected using dual input hot swap FETs. These FETs also help disconnect the input supply during input power loss or overcurrent fault. The Analog Devices Inc. DC2464A-A and A-B Demo Boards for LTC3351 Chargers use an output ideal diode to allow the supercapacitors to supply the output when VCAP is above the set backup voltage. The LTC3351 will supply the output by operating as a boost regulator when the capacitor stack voltage drops down to the set output voltage. The LTC3351 will continue to act as a boost regulator until the energy in the supercapacitors is depleted.Features
