NCP81243 Dual Output Multi-Phase Controller

onsemi NCP81243 Dual Output Controller offers an optimized multi-phase buck solution for Intel IMVP8 compatible CPUs. The control system of the onsemi NCP81243 is based on dual-edge pulse-width modulation (PWM) and DCR current sensing. This design delivers an ultra-fast initial response to dynamic load events. In light load conditions, the onsemi NCP81243 can auto-frequency scale while still delivering excellent transient performance. By integrating differential-inductor DCR current sensing, true-differential voltage sensing, input voltage feed-forward, and adaptive-voltage positioning, the NCP81243 controller accurately regulates power for both desktop and notebook applications.
