CHARX EVC-100 Vehicle Charging Controllers

Phoenix Contact CHARX EVC-100 Vehicle Charging Controllers are on-vehicle charging controllers designed to manage the DC charging process in electric trucks, buses, and other electrified commercial vehicles. The vehicle charging controller acts as the brain of an electric vehicle's (EV's) charging system. The charging controller communicates via CAN bus protocol with the charging station. The Phoenix Contact EVC-100 resides inside the vehicle and communicates with the vehicle's on-board charger (OBC) and the charging station in real-time. The EVC-100 is compatible with CCS charging and will be compatible with NACS charging. The device confirms, monitors, starts, and stops the EV charging process by working side-by-side with the charging station. This controller is optimized to connect and communicate with Phoenix Contact charging inlets, as the reduced configuration makes the integration process easier for EV manufacturers.
