STEVAL-ISA180V1 Evaluation Board

STMicroelectronics STEVAL-ISA180V1 Evaluation Board implements a wide mains range flyback isolated converter (12V/0.6A) for general-purpose applications. This high-voltage converter intelligently integrates an 800V rugged power MOSFET with PWM current-mode control. The application's core is the VIPer0P off-line high voltage converter from the VIPerPlus family with zero power features. The STMicroelectronics STEVAL-ISA180V1 evaluation board features a small size, minimal BOM, high efficiency, low standby power consumption, and high reliability.

VIPerPlus High Voltage Converters

STMicroelectronics VIPerPlus High Voltage Converters combine 800V avalanche-rugged MOSFET with state-of-the-art PWM circuitry. The result is an innovative AC-DC conversion that is efficient, simpler, quicker, and with component count halved, less expensive. In addition to benefits such as optimized current-mode control and comprehensive built-in protection circuits, the STMicroelectronics VIPerPlus family represents the easiest solution to comply with ENERGY STAR and Blue Angel standards, with low total power consumption from the mains when the system is in standby mode.
