Microchip LAN931x Embedded Ethernet Switches

The Microchip LAN931x embedded Ethernet switch family supports the growth of networked devices in home consumer electronics. Microchip LAN931x switches supply system designers with 2/3-port switching technology to solve network connectivity requirements using both 16/32-bit non-PCI and MII interfaces in a 128-pin VTQFP package. The Microchip LAN931x family incorporates IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol to support time-critical industrial applications.

Wired Connectivity

Microchip Technology Wired Connectivity Solutions, based on the IEEE Ethernet standards, enable robust, reliable, high-speed connectivity and control when added to embedded designs. Ethernet enables systems to be monitored securely over the Internet, allows for precision control of industrial motors at production facilities, and enables new IoT products with common MCU interfaces like PCI/PCIe®, SPI, USB, and 8-/16-bit parallel bus. Microchip Ethernet solutions include highly integrated Ethernet PHYs, bridges, controllers, and switches complemented by a full line of PIC32 MCUs and SAM Arm® Cortex®-based MCUs and MPUs.

Connected (Wired & Wireless)

Microchip Technology Connectivity is easy to add to applications, as Microchip's MCUs and MPUs are designed to be compatible with Microchip wired and wireless devices. Robust, reliable, high-speed connectivity is available with a broad portfolio of wired connectivity solutions. Mobility, convenience, and enhanced user experience are possible with a wide range of wireless connectivity solutions. And, with pre-certified modules, designers can avoid worrying about communication regulations.‌

Ethernet Switches

Microchip Technology Ethernet Switches are high-performance, small-footprint, full-featured 3- to 64-port 1/2.5/5/10/25Gbps Ethernet switches. Applications such as IoT consumer electronics, computing, Industry 4.0 factory automation, and automotive designs are supported with innovative features and robust high-temperature operation. Rapid development cycle and low-cost are enabled through design check services and software drivers.
