KYOCERA AVX UltraGuard Low Leakage TVS Varistors

KYOCERA AVX UltraGuard (UG) Low Leakage Transient Voltage Suppressors (TVS) are designed to address the growing demand for faster semiconductor clock speeds and increasing dependence on batteries as a power source. Featuring low leakage current, the UG series is offered as an ideal transient protection solution for high clock speed integrated circuit applications, battery-operated devices, backlit displays, medical/instrument applications, low voltage power conversion circuits, and power supervisory chipsets. The low leakage characteristics also make the series suitable for optic circuits such as LDD, SerDes, and laser diodes. KYOCERA AVX UG varistors are offered in discrete chips (0402, 0603, and 0805), 2-element packages (0405 and 0508), and 4-element packages (0612).
