KYOCERA AVX Low Inductance Ceramic Capacitors (LICCs)

KYOCERA AVX Low Inductance Ceramic Capacitors (LICCs) feature terminations on the longer sides of its rectangular shape. This design reduces the size of the current loop, which helps significantly lower the equivalent series inductance (ESL). These reverse geometry capacitors (RGCs) are available in case sizes 0306, 0508, and 0612 with a lead-free finish of plated nickel/tin. KYOCERA AVX LICCs are used for decoupling and are found on semiconductor packages and printed circuit boards (PCBs) as close as possible to the load.
