High Accuracy and Low Insertion Loss
The HMC1119 attenuators are optimized for excellent step accuracy and high linearity over frequency and temperature range. The devices maintain excellent attenuation accuracy of ±0.2dB with a ±0.1dB typical step error. The HMC1119 family has a 1.1dB at 1GHz and a 1.3dB at 2GHz rating.
Advanced Silicon Design
Designed using an advanced silicon process, the HMC1119 attenuators offer low power consumption, fast settling time, and high ESD robustness. An on-chip regulator supports a wide, 3.3-5.0V single-supply operating range with no performance degradation in electrical characteristics. The device's ~100nsec switching and 0.05dB in ~250nsec settling times make the HMC1119 attenuators ideal for fast-switching applications and time division multiplexed systems. The robust 2kV ESD protection on signal inputs and outputs complies with the most stringent RF applications and assembly requirements.
Serial and Parallel Programming Interface
The HMC1119 driver supports serial (3-wire) and parallel controls of the attenuator.
HMC1119's safe-state transitions feature ensures the safe operation of the components in the RF signal chain.
HMC1119's bidirectional, interchangeable RF inputs and outputs are internally matched to 50Ω. The RF inputs and outputs do not require any external matching components.
