Analog Devices Inc. DC2616A-A Demo Board for LTM4645 μModule Regulator
Analog Devices DC2616A-A Demonstration Board is designed to evaluate the performance of the Analog Devices LTM4645 Power μModule Regulator. The DC2616A-A Demonstration Board includes Demonstration Circuit 2616A-A. Demonstration Circuit 2616A-A features a polyphase design using the 25A high-efficiency LTM4645EY Switch Mode Step-Down Power μModule Regulator. To comply with the operating specifications of the LTM4645EY Power μModule Regulator, DC2616A-A has a 6V to 15V input voltage range, an output voltage range of 0.6V to 1.8V, and delivers a nominal 50A output current. In addition, DC2616A-A supports output current derating as required for certain VIN, VOUT, and thermal conditions. In heavy-load conditions, the DC2616A-A Demonstration Board operates in continuous conduction mode. For high-efficiency at low load currents, the MODE_PLLIN jumper selects pulse-skipping mode for noise-sensitive applications or burst-mode operation in less noise-sensitive applications. DC2616A-A's MODE_PLLIN pin also enables the LTM4645 to synchronize to an external clock signal. The phase shift between the two phases is 180 degrees. DC2616A-A also offers the option of choosing both internal and external compensation circuit for the LTM4645.
