Amphenol Fiber Systems International MIL-ST Fiber Optic Connectors

Amphenol Fiber Systems International MIL-ST Fiber Optic Connectors are specially designed for deployable and fixed communication systems. These connectors meet the stringent requirements of MIL-C-83522 to provide the best possible optical performance in harsh environments. The MIL-ST series features a higher spring force than commercial ST connectors, enabling them to meet the shock and vibration requirements of MIL-C-83522. Stainless steel construction delivers mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. The boot is attached either by a compression ring or by a threaded adapter.

These US Navy-approved commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) ST connectors offer the same robustness with a spring force more consistent with commercial ST connectors. The COTS products are designed for use in shock-isolated environments or to interface with commercial electronics and non-mil-spec ST adapters. They are also appropriate for applications seeking corrosion resistance and mechanical strength.

Typical applications for Amphenol Fiber Systems International MIL-ST Fiber Optic Connectors include US Navy shipboards, surface and submarine, communications systems, mobile tactical shelters, mobile emergency telecommunications stations, and much more.
