ABLIC 8581AA Step-Down Switching Regulator

ABLIC 8581AA Step-Down Switching Regulator is a 36V and 600mA synchronous regulator that is developed using the high withstand voltage CMOS process technologies. This regulator maintains high-accuracy FB pin voltage at ±1.5V. The 8581AA step-down regulator operates with PWM switching control under heavy load and automatically switches to PFM switching control under a light load. This regulator comes with a built-in synchronous circuit that achieves high efficiency easier as compared to the conventional step-down switching regulators. The 8581AA regulator incorporates a built-in overcurrent protection circuit and a thermal shutdown circuit that protects the IC from excessive load current and heat damage. Typical applications include constant-voltage power supplies for industrial equipment and home electric appliances.
